WELCOME

"My biggest dream is to help the world see their true, uniquely beautiful imprint.

I am on a mission to help people find beauty in themselves.

A mission to fight the societal norm of comparison, condemnation and competition.

My passions are words, melody, and people. My medium is music.

I believe in meaning over success. I believe in instilling purpose over creating hype.

I am inspired by God, by nature, and by stories.

I hope to cross the globe, turning my struggles into meaning and telling the stories of the every day heroes I meet along the way."

XO Louisa

ABOUT

ABOUT

Since day one, Los Angeles native Louisa Wendorff knew she would sing.  She performed at any chance she got, and quickly began playing piano, guitar and the ukulele.  Professional vocal coaching started at age 9, and she began training in classical Italian two years later.  Her training and performing continued throughout high school.

Louisa’s passion took her from the warm Southern California coast to Nashville, Tennessee, where she attended Belmont University for Songwriting and Music Business.  While in school, she began writing and recording for her first EP.  She released the EP, entitled Arrow, in June of 2014.  Her EP soared to the No. 2 spot on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter chart, gaining her the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s HeatSeekers Chart.

Louisa’s talent was soon recognized when, in late December 2014, Taylor Swift discovered her latest mash-up video of Swift’s songs, Blank Space and Style. One word on Twitter from Swift herself, “OBSESSED,” launched Louisa into the spotlight. In no time, Louisa’s YouTube mash-up went viral, with over 17 million views in the first month alone. The mainstream media discovered her, and soon countless news sites were writing articles about her, including TIME, People Magazine, The Huffington Post, Billboard, USA Today, and Teen Vogue.  With an international presence, the total views for Louisa’s YouTube channel have now surpassed 40 million. The video was played during the beginning of Taylor Swift’s entire 1989 World Tour.

In February 2015, Louisa performed live at E!’s Live Countdown to the Grammy’s Red Carpet, as she simultaneously released her Blank Space/Style mash-up as a single on iTunes. The single rapidly climbed to the #18 spot for all genres on iTunes. In July 2015, Louisa performed a rendition of “Let It Go” from the movie Frozen at the Closing Ceremony of the Special Olympics at the Los Angeles Coliseum in front of 40,000 people.

In addition to music, Louisa has collaborated and modeled with numerous brands, being supported/endorsed by Samsung, Rebecca Minkoff, Free People, the Red Cross, Bedell Guitars, and more. In September 2015, Louisa was featured in Seventeen Magazine’s print edition as “Favorite Cover Artist."

Most recently, Louisa released a new mash-up with pop artist Who Is Fancy, being featured on outlets including Billboard, Teen Vogue, Seventeen Magazine, and more. Currently, Louisa lives and travels between LA and Nashville, and is currently working on new original music.
